Our Story

SockMoose was formed in 2022 in Boulder, Colorado by two current and former collegiate distance runners who saw a need in the running world that is often overlooked: Socks. Socks are critical for running enjoyment and performance, but we both struggled throughout our running careers to find a quality product at an affordable price. It’s simple, when you run a lot, socks seem to disappear faster than laundry can be done. We constantly searched for less expensive options, but if we were lucky enough to find a cheap pair, they were often poor quality or uncomfortable.

So we decided to start SockMoose… and create a high quality running sock for a reasonable price. As runners ourselves, we tested countless prototypes of different material compositions and collaborated with other runners to create a sock that was breathable, comfortable, and most importantly up to the demands runners place on their socks. Now, we hope runners enjoy our socks as much as we do and no longer find the need to break the bank for one pair of socks. We are already working on rolling out the next version of our socks: the highly cushioned ComfyMoose and some different length socks as well and hope to have them ready to go in the next few months.
